RSL Care's Cazna Gardens Retirement Community is conveniently located in leafy Sunnybank Hills - a vibrant community hub just 14 kilometres from the CBD on Brisbane's southside.

With the popular retail centre Garden City nearby as well as a wide range of health and community facilities, Sunnybank Hills is a great location which also boasts a wonderful mix of people.

This region is serviced by a comprehensive public transport system. A Council bus stops regularly at Cazna Garden's front entrance and several rail and Busway stations are located nearby.

Cazna Gardens Retirement Community is comprised of 54 independent living units and a 134-bed residential aged care facility that caters for low, high and special care needs.

Residents at Cazna Gardens enjoy a wide range of onsite community facilities including heated swimming pool and spa, BBQ gazebo area, recreation room with billiards table and an auditorium for larger functions and concerts. A hairdresser visits the community regularly.

KEY SERVICES

High care accommodation:
Available for residents requiring a high level of care, each room offers both twin share and single accommodation available, emergency call system, fans and heaters, over bed lighting, television aerial connection and en-suite.
Low care accommodation:
Available for residents requiring a low level of care, the facility provides suites with private outdoor areas, and which share kitchen, furnished lounge and TV area. Each private suite is furnished with bedroom furniture and linen, emergency call system, en suite, a fan and heater.
Special Care:
Special care is available in our Cottage for residents experiencing dementia related conditions. This Cottage is a secure environment with a private garden and pergola setting.
Respite Accommodation:
Short term respite accommodation is available for both high and low care clients.
Retirement Villas:

2 bedroom villas with lock-up garage, or carport. These units are Resident (Equity) Funded and are available by way of a Loan and License agreement.

1 bedroom villas are available for rental to financially disadvantaged persons (a means test is required). Fees for rental villas are available on request.

HomeCare:

RSL HomeCare is all about supporting independence, helping people stay at home and in their community for as long as possible.

Our team of community nurses, trained carers and volunteers work with clients and their families to design and deliver tailored assistance packages that meet each client's health abd lifestyle needs.

From personal care, domestic assistance and meal preparation to community nursing, home based respite and transportation, the flexibility of HomeCare assistance means that as needs change so too can the type of assistance provided.

You can receive RSL HomeCare through referral by a medical practitioner or self referral. Costs vary depending on each individual's eligibility for government funded programs. These services usually require a minimal co-payment, however if clients are financially disadvantaged, co-payments may be reduced or waived. Those who don't meet the eligibility criteria are still able to obtain HomeCare services on a fee-for-service basis.
