Located 20km north of Brisbane, Inverpine Retirement Community at Murrumba Downs has a pleasant rural outlook with sea breezes from nearby Moreton Bay.

With a relaxed feel and strong sense of community spirit, Inverpine Retirement Community accommodates: 155 independent villas, 43 low care, 31 high care and 20 special care beds in an 'ageing in place' facility.

Staff, volunteers and residents regularly enjoy activities and outings thanks to an active social committee.

KEY SERVICES

High care accommodation:

Available for residents requiring a high level of care, both twin share accommodation and single rooms are available. Each room features:

  • Emergency call system
  • Ceiling fans and heaters
  • Over bed lighting
  • Television aerial connection
  • En-suite
Low care accommodation:
Available for residents requiring a low level of care, the facility provides suites with private outdoor areas, and which share kitchen, furnished lounge and TV area. Each private suite is furnished with bedroom furniture and linen, emergency call system, en suite, ceiling fans and heaters.
Retirement villas:
There are 155 units available including:

1 & 2 bedroom unit with lock-up garage, or carport. These villas are Resident (Equity) Funded and are available by way of a Loan and License agreement.

1 bedroom units are available for rental to financially disadvantaged persons (a Means Test is required). Fees for Rental Units are available on request.

Special care:
Special Care is available in our Cottage for residents experiencing dementia related conditions. This Cottage is a secure environment with a private garden and pergola setting.
Respite accommodation:
Short term respite accommodation is available for both high and low care clients.
HomeCare:

RSL HomeCare is all about supporting independence, helping people stay at home in their community for as long as possible.

Our team of community nurses, trained carers and volunteers work with clients and their families to design and deliver tailored assistance package that meet each client's health and lifestyle needs.

From personal care, domestic assistance and meal preparation to community nursing, home based respite and transportation, the flexibility of HomeCare assistance means that as needs change so too can the type of assistance provided.

You can receive RSL HomeCare through referral made by a medical practitioner or self referral. Costs vary depending on each individual's eligibility for government funded programs. These services usually require a minimal co-payment, however if clients are financially disadvantaged, co-payments may be reduced or waived. Those who don't meet the eligibility criteria are still able to obtain HomeCare services on a fee-for-service basis.
