The Fernhill Retirement Community includes a independent living village with one and two bedroom villas, as well as a residential care facility with low, high and special care accommodation. A day therapy centre is also located on-site.
RSL Care supports a philosophy of 'ageing in place'. This means as needs change, every effort is made to help existing residents access higher levels of care within the same community.
All RSL Care residential care and HomeCare services meet government standards. RSL Care Retirement Villages are also accredited under the RVA Accreditation scheme.

From personal care, domestic assistance and meal preparation to community nursing, home based respite and transportation, the flexibility of HomeCare assistance means that as needs change so too can the type of assistance provided.

You can receive RSL HomeCare through referral by a medical practitioner or self referral. Costs vary depending on each individual's eligibility for government funded programs. Those who don't meet the eligibility criteria are still able to obtain HomeCare services on a fee-for-service basis.

High care accommodation
Available for residents requiring a high level of care, Fernhill's high care facility offers single and shared accommodation.
Our specialised staff provides a range of services including
- Nursing services
- Registered Nurse and other staff on duty 24 hours a day
- Assistance with personal care including dressing, grooming, meals, cleaning, laundry, and other daily activities

- Ensuite
Low care accommodation:
Available for residents requiring a low level of care, the facility provides suites with private outdoor areas, and which share kitchen, furnished lounge and TV area.
Each private suite is furnished with

Special Care:
Special care is available in our cottages for residents experiencing dementia related conditions. This unit has individual rooms with ensuite and air-conditioned common areas; all located in two peaceful and secure cottages complete with private garden and outdoor area.
Day Therapy Centre:
The day therapy centre provides physiotherapy, podiatry and alternative therapies to residents and members of the community.
Respite Accommodation:
Both high and low care respite accommodation is available.
