Bongaree Retirement Village
Bribie Island

Just one hour from Brisbane is Bribie Island, with 31 kilometres of white sandy beaches and unspoilt natural beauty, most of which is national park. Pumicestone Passage, the spectacular water body dividing Bribie from the mainland, provides excellent fishing and boating and is home to dugongs, turtles, dolphins and more than 350 bird species.

The island remains quiet and relaxed and has easy access to the mainland provided by a large bridge.

Bongaree Retirement Community is nestled in a bushland setting, an easy walk from the RSL Club and beach.

The village has a relaxed atmosphere and a strong sense of community spirit. Many residents are actively involved in local organisations.

There is a range of facilities for all to enjoy, including swimming pool, heated spa, a recreation centre and bus.

Bongaree comprises 50 one and two bedroom independent villas. A limited number of one bedroom villas are available for rental to those who are financially disadvantaged. RSL HomeCare services also allow residents to remain independent.
