RSL Care's Cunningham Villas Retirement Community is located in a quiet residential area of Bowen, between the town centre and Queen's Beach.
Bowen is just five minutes off the Bruce highway, half way between Mackay and Townsville and surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches, boasting panoramic lookouts over the ocean.
The Community is situated close to a major shopping centre with supermarket and specialty shops, medical services and facilities such as the library, cinema and banks.
With the council bus stopping at the front gate at least six times daily, residents can enjoy Bowen's recreational facilities including: lawn bowls, an Olympic size public swimming pool or a the nearby Queen's Beach course.
Cunningham Villas Retirement Community comprises a 47 bed residential aged care facility catering for low, high and dementia care needs.
Cunningham Villas is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week by a registered nurse and other care staff.

RSL Care supports the philosophy 'ageing in place'. This means, as needs change, every effort is made to help residents' access higher levels of care within the same community.
Designed for low, high and dementia care needs, the fully integrated residential care facility at Cunningham Villas has the security of an emergency call system as well as a registered nurse and other care staff on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Low care accommodation:
Available for residents requiring a low level of care, the facility provides 9 private suites with an outdoor area, share kitchen, furnished lounge and TV area. Each suite is furnished with bedroom furniture and linen, an emergency call system and ensuite.
High care accommodation:
27 beds are available for residents requiring a high level of care. Both twin share and single accommodation is offered. Each room features an emergency call system, over bed lighting, television aerial connection and ensuite.
Dementia care accommodation:
11 private dementia care suites are available in our secure facility for residents experiencing dementia related conditions. Residents experience a tranquil environment with a private garden, pergola setting and furnished communal area.
FACILITIES
Residents can also enjoy the on-site spa and choose to take part in a wide range of organised social activities including outings, on-site picnics and group activities and games.
