What is the cost involved in accessing RSL HomeCare?

The cost of HomeCare services varies depending on each client's eligibility for a range of government funded programs, including Community Aged Care Packages (CACP), Home and Community Care (HACC), DVA Community Nursing and Veterans Home Care. These services usually require a minimal co-payment, however if clients are financially disadvantaged, co-payments may be reduced or waived.

Those who don't meet the eligibility criteria for government funded programs are still able to obtain HomeCare services on a fee-for-service basis.

What if I live in a retirement village or hostel?

If you live in a retirement village, this is considered to be your own home. As such, you are eligible for community services.

If you live in a government or privately operated hostel, or low care facility, the facility is funded to provide a certain level of care. You are unable to access community services unless prior arrangements between RSL Care and your facility have been made. If you believe you require care that is not available in your facility, talk to the Manager of the facility and they can contact us directly to discuss any options for your care.
