Low Care - Hostel Accommodation

Low Care (hostel accommodation) is provided for people who have varying care needs, but who can still function independently in many areas. Low care hostels are appreciated by residents, particularly those with limited mobility, who need greater access to personal and nursing care than people living at home. Features include single room with ensuite, furniture, fittings, an emergency call system, access to shared facilities including a kitchen, lounge and dining room, TV area and outdoor areas. Facilities are staffed by a team of specialist nursing, personal care and therapy staff.

Access to residential care is always subject to Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessment, room availability and payment of fees appropriate to your financial circumstances. RSL Care supports a philosophy of 'ageing in place'. This means that as needs change, every effort is made to help existing residents access higher levels of care within the same community.
