You can make a difference

RSL Care invites you to make a difference to the lives of people in your local community by donating as much or as little of your time as you can spare.

Volunteering provides an opportunity to learn new skills, build upon existing work and life experiences, all whilst making a difference to the lives of those around you.

Our dedicated HomeCare and Residential Care staff rely on the ongoing assistance of volunteers who provide help in the following areas:

• Supporting people in their homes or in residential care facilities by providing social interaction.
  
• Sharing your skills or knowledge with our residents and clients (e.g. music, art, gardening or reading).
  
• Providing transport for social activities, medical and other appointments.
  
• Administrative support to local RSL Care offices.

RSL Care volunteers determine their own hours and the types of activities in which they wish to be involved. Full support and training are provided and out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed.
