RSL Care’s graduate program is aligned to RSL Care’s human resource initiatives which aim to have a ‘competent, capable and committed workforce’ and are designed as an attraction mechanism to encourage new skilled staff into the organisation.
RSL Care has two streams of graduate programs. The first stream is for the development of nursing staff through a range of clinical graduate programs. The clinical graduate programs are designed for Registered Nurses. The nursing programs are coordinated through Corporate Services and supported in the field by the Clinical Development Officers. The graduates are managed by the site managers in accordance with the organisation’s human resource policies and practices.
The second stream graduate program is for the development of business graduates who wish to apply and develop their skills within the Aged Care industry. The business graduates are recruited from a range of disciplines depending on the area of the business they are recruited to. This graduate program is coordinated through Corporate Services and closely monitored and supported by a representative from Learning and Development. The graduates are managed by their line managers in accordance with the organisation’s human resource policies and practices.
