The development of Milford Grange, a mulitstaged Retirement Community project at Eastern Heights - Ipswich, is a  joint initiative of RSL Care and the Queensland Country Women's Association (QCWA).

Located on the outskirts of the thriving city of Ipswich, Milford Grange is master planned to include 61 independent living villas and a 120 bed aged care facility accommodating low, high and dementia care needs.

Stage One retirement living at Milford Grange, comprising 30 villas, opened to residents in February 2009 along with the communities recreational facilities.  Stage two, comprising 22 new villas was opened in February 2011. 

Stage One residential care, comprising 60 places, opened in July 2009 and provides high and low care accommodation.

The village has the look and feel of a residential suburb with the security and lifestyle of a retirement community. Milford Grange located close to commercial and recreational facilities while capturing the surrounding natural beauty of neighbouring parkland.

RSL and QCWA are Queensland icons which have long provided accommodation and care.  This joint venture brings together the intention to continue these services in a way which has expanded the services well beyond the level which was previously available. 

Milford Grange provides attractive retirement village facilities combined with a residential care facility should it be required in the future.  A vision of independent living perhaps with community care should it be required is backed with the security of an onsite ageing in place facility. 
 
Whilst RSL Care and QCWA have interests in the facility, RSL Care has well developed aged care and retirement village experience and has accepted the responsibility for the provision of the services on the site.  RSL and QCWA members are integral to our society and we encourage them to expand their activities by including Milford Grange Retirement Community. Everyone is welcome in the facility and we welcome RSL and QCWA members should they become residents.
