Sunset Ridge Retirement Community at Zilzie, is a joint initiative of RSL Care and the Capricorn Division of the Queensland Country Women's Association (QCWA).  The retirement community is owned and operated by RSL Care.

Located in arguably one of the most beautiful areas of the Queensland coast, Sunset Ridge Retirement Community has enhanced the aged care services available on the Capricorn Coast.

Sunset Ridge is a fully integrated and multi staged retirement community development that includes retirement living, residential aged care and RSL HomeCare services. 

Stage One retirement living, comprising 25 villas opened in April 2009.  The state of the art 120 bed residential aged care facility opened at Sunset Ridge late 2008.  Retirement Living is master planned to include 100 independent living villas.

RSL and QCWA are Queensland icons which have long provided accommodation and care.  This joint venture brings together the intention to continue these services in a way which has expanded the services well beyond the level which was previously available.  

Sunset Ridge provides attractive retirement village facilities combined with a residential care facility should it be required in the future.  A vision of independent living perhaps with community care should it be required is backed with the security of an onsite ageing in place facility. 
 
Whilst RSL Care and QCWA have interests in the facility, RSL Care has well developed aged care and retirement village experience and has accepted the responsibility for the provision of the services on the site. 

RSL and QCWA members are integral to our society and we encourage them to expand their activities by including Sunset Ridge Retirement Community. Everyone is welcome in the facility and we welcome RSL and QCWA members should they become residents.
